Prisma is a full colour video magnifier with a stylish, adjustable camera stand and integral table that allows a tremendous range of magnification in a convenient size. The simple controls allow you to view in full colour or enhanced reading modes. Magnification is achieved by raising and lowering the camera and re-focussing with the large focus control located on the top of the unit. Prisma uses a standard TV for its display so you can take it anywhere to read or work. The clearance under the camera allows you to write easily and even perform hand tasks such as needlework or carving.

The unit folds to a mere 6cm when not in use so it can be transported or stowed away easily. The aluminium extrusions used in its construction lend Prisma a stylish appearance and a weight of 1.1kg.

You can use the Fusion in 2 ways.

First, simply open the case and roll the Fusion over your reading material. Rollers underneath the Fusion make this simple and easy to do. Or, secondly, you can detach the camera unit from the Fusion case and use it like a mouse, moving the camera over the reading material or object you wish to view. This feature is great for reading surfaces that are not flat, like a thick telephone directory or labelling on bottles.

The Fusion has a magnification range of 7X to 17X and works in colour, positive and negative modes. For people who are sensitive to glare you can also choose different colour combinations such as yellow text on a blue background.

A writing mode also enables you to do simple writing tasks such as signing a cheque or filling out a crossword.

For Reading and Writing

The Traveller Plus is a battery operated, full colour flat screen electronic magnifier with variable magnification. It has been designed to be truly portable giving maximum freedom to the vision impaired user. Internal batteries make the Traveller easy to use without it being necessary to plug into an external power source or the mains supply. Carry it with you and use it in the supermarket or in libraries or even while travelling. The magnification range is from 4 to 16 times. A unique feature of the Traveller is that it can also be used for writing. Open the Traveller up, stand it on its end and you are ready to writer or sign forms on the spot.

The Traveller can be operated with just one hand; all the buttons are easy to access. At home the Traveller can be connected to a television for a larger image. The Traveller can also be used from the mains via an adaptor supplied, when used this way the battery charges automatically.
